A highly skilled fine art restorer is a rare find, as they must mentally merge with the original artwork to maintain the intention and integrity of the piece to protect its authenticity for future generations. Ashley Soulier brings a traditional preservation philosophy to her practice as the owner of Ashley Ella Studio Fine Art Restoration. 

As an accomplished fine art restoration specialist and artist in the community, Ashley brings over 15 years of experience in the field and has a long-standing professional history working with private art dealers, collectors, and cultural heritage institutions.

Business and community run through Ashley’s core. Her family settled in Gladstone, New Jersey area over a hundred years ago and established themselves as pivotal entrepreneurs for several companies. Ashley brings this pioneering spirit to her own business, working with her daughter Ella, who assists with operations. 

Ashley’s education includes a Master of Information Science in Archives and Preservation from Rutgers University and a Master of Fine Arts in Mixed Media from Montclair State University. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Figure Drawing from Pratt Institute while simultaneously taking anatomical drawing courses at Columbia University.

She is an active member of the American Institute for Conservation and the Society of American Archivists, and several local historical committees, where she regularly attends meetings and stays current on professional training and policy.
